The gold does not cover the crack. It follows it.
That is the whole design: a house drawn in fracture lines, a quill standing where a wall should be, and a seam of light running along the floor. Around the top, six words that should not still need saying: housing is a human right. Around the bottom, where the work actually happens: written from the floor, boots on.
This comes out of The Kosmic Quill Project, a housing justice practice built on the idea that the cracks are where the gold goes.
